The Kirindy forest reserve is a primary forest. It used to be a Swiss logging site, but now it serves as a model for protecting flora and fauna, as there is a large number of animals present. There are designated paths for exploring the unique plant and animal life. Visitors can spot lemurs, specifically the white Sifaka lemurs, as well as fosas, lizards, chameleons, and a variety of colorful birds. There are multiple routes to observe the wildlife, dunes, mangroves, and lakes.
