Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park is famous for its spectacular peak-shaped rock formations. These sharp limestone formations are unique in the world, dating back 160 million years. The park has 2 sections: "Little Tsingy" and "Big Tsingy". It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Manambolo River flows through the bottom of the canyon. Forests, lakes and mangroves are home to endemic fauna, including reptiles, amphibians, bats and lemurs. You can also visit a bat cave. There are numerous hiking trails throughout the park, and you can also discover it by pirogue.
