Faeeza will tell you all about her story, while teaching you how to wrap samoosas, roll the perfect rotis, and fry chili bites. Here, everyone gets involved in the kitchen, before enjoying the meal all together.

With the incredible diversity of people in the city, you can imagine the kind of diversity of foods we have. So the Cuisine Route was designed to give guests the chance to explore the city through food. It’s a great lense.

On this half day experience you will sample the flavours and stories behind several of the different cultural foods of the city, from street food to chisa nyamas or hot meat bars to traditional home-cooked cuisine.

The tour generally including food elements across a wide ambit of Cape Town, including the historic city, and townships such as Langa and Guguletu.

Enjoy a local meal in a South African home and immerse yourself in the country's diverse culinary traditions and warm hospitality. Savor dishes like bobotie, a flavorful Cape Malay curry, or braai, South Africa’s beloved barbecue, while engaging in lively conversations with your hosts. The meal may be accompanied by traditional sides such as pap (a type of maize porridge) and chakalaka (a spicy vegetable relish), showcasing the rich and varied flavors of South African cuisine.

Situated on the slopes of Table Mountain lies Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. This is one of those peaceful spots which will make you forget you are in a big city. The garden boasts 2,500 species of plants found on the Cape Peninsula, with the Protea garden as an absolute highlight.

Kirstenbosch is a favourite among locals and visitors for many reasons: picnics on the lawns, hiking along the trails and taking in the panoramic views from the canopy walkway.

Table Mountain is one of Cape Town’s most iconic landmarks, offering stunning panoramic views over the city, the Atlantic Ocean, and the surrounding mountains. A visit to the summit by cable car is a must for travelers, providing an exhilarating ride as the cable cars rotate 360 degrees, allowing everyone to take in the breathtaking scenery. Once at the top, visitors can explore various walking trails, enjoy unique flora and fauna, or simply relax with a view stretching as far as Robben Island. Even though the weather on the mountain can be unpredictable at times, which may affect visibility and cable car operations, it remains one of the must-dos for an unforgettable South African adventure.
