After this experience you will have a unique insight in Namibia's history, as well as the present. After an introduction to Swakopmund's colonial past, you will head to Mondesa, a township just outside the city. You will get to know this friendly community of Namibians from different tribes by going to the local market, tasting traditional food and meeting iconic members of the community. Mondesa was originated during apartheid, when Namibia’s towns were divided between the “town”, where wealthy whites lived, and the “location”, where blacks were forced to stay. Today Mondesa is a melting pot of different cultures, ethnicities and ever evolving and developing.

Visit Namib Dunes Craft Brewery in Swakopmund, the largest independent craft brewery in Namibia. Learn more about the process of brewing craft beer, and of course taste the many options available.

In order to appreciate the Namibian landscape from all possible angles, you will go on a scenic flight from the Namib Desert to the coastal town of Swakopmund. Flying over the red dunes, the Deadvlei and along the coast where the desert meets the Atlantic Ocean and spotting shipwrecks along the way. And a nice bonus: you skip the long drive ;)
