No fences. No luxury lodge. No crowds. Just you – right in the wildest part of Botswana. On this mobile safari, you experience Chobe National Park by water and by land – and spend the night where others must leave.

Your day begins with a boat safari along the Chobe River: crocodiles warming in the sun, hippos drifting in the shallows and elephants drinking along the banks – you might even see them swimming. Afterwards, you continue deeper into the park by 4x4 with your ranger, searching for more wildlife.

In the evening, a mobile safari camp set up exclusively for your small group awaits you in the heart of the park. A bush chef prepares a warm dinner, the campfire crackles and the night sky spreads out above you. You sleep in a Meru tent with a proper camp bed and mattress – no sleeping bag on the ground. Facilities are simple (bush toilet and bucket shower), but the experience is priceless. This is what real Africa feels like.

Chobe National Park in northern Botswana is famous for its vast elephant population and for offering a uniquely water-based safari experience.
