You book your flights separately, but we've already worked out the sensible way to do it — here are our recommended routes, airlines and timings for this trip.
Our Botswana In Depth tour begins and ends in Victoria Falls, so a straightforward return booking into Victoria Falls (VFA) works well.

London Heathrow connects best to Victoria Falls, almost always via Johannesburg with a short onward hop.
Regional departures are possible but add a further connection — ask us if you'd prefer one.
Carriers we recommend
British Airways or Airlink, via Johannesburg
A reliable connection from the Heathrow overnight straight onto Victoria Falls.
Qatar Airways, via Doha
A one-stop to Johannesburg and a short hop to Victoria Falls, with your bags checked through.
Ethiopian Airlines or Kenya Airways
A one-stop via Addis Ababa or Nairobi, often the best value into Victoria Falls.

Plan on one stop in a Southern African hub — usually Johannesburg — and a short onward flight to Victoria Falls, about 14–16 hours in total.
Keep it on a single through-ticket so your bags are checked all the way and the airline protects the connection.
Typical economy return fares are around £900–£1,500 per person.
We must stress that this is indicative only, with fares often rising closer to the departure date, always subject to availability and change.
On the way out: The Heathrow overnight to Johannesburg connects onward to Victoria Falls the next morning — keeping it on one ticket means your bags travel through with you.
On arrival: Victoria Falls is a small, relaxed airport with short transfers. Arriving a day early gives you time to see the Falls before the tour begins.
Coming back: You return the same way, via Johannesburg, so do leave a comfortable connection.
Extend the trip: Why not add a few days in Cape Town, or a safari, on the way home? Both connect easily through Johannesburg.
International flights are booked separately and booked directly with the airline. The recommendations on this page are guidance to help you choose; fares are indicative and subject to availability and change. We don't sell flights or guarantee fares.
